Dr. Al-Raisi has more than four decades of law enforcement experience and is an expert in policing, digital transformation, forensics and international anti-crime coordination. He is currently the Inspector General at the Ministry of Interior in the United Arab Emirates and has held this role since 2015. Dr. Al-Raisi also served as the President of INTERPOL from November 2021-2025.
Dr. Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi was elected President of INTERPOL on 25th November 2021 for a four-year term. As President of INTERPOL, Dr. Al-Raisi leads conversations at the Assembly General and Executive Committee meetings.
